Just one day to go for the start of the 2011 JN Jamaica International Invitational Meet and as luck would have it I bumped into several of the Jamaican athletes, who will be competing, while buying tickets for the meet.
Four athletes, all ladies, were kind enough to grant my request for a group photo as long as I didn't post it to Facebook. But I wonder if my blog is an exception...ummm....:)
Now back to the meet tomorrow at the National Stadium where a host of international athletes will gather for the 8th staging of the Invitational.
There is a lot of excitement about the meet's new World Challenge Status which have lifted the its profile and appeal. Also the meet is being staged on the brand new "Tru-Blue" track that was laid in February.
